Newly promoted Chinese Super league club Shenzhen FC have sent Gambian international Pa Dibba for a long season loan to China first division club Shanghai Shenxin.Dibba moved to China last summer from Hammarby on a record transfer but failed to make any impact which resulted to him been sent on loan.
Hammbary, where Pa Dibba played between 2016 to 2018 were quoted to have shown interest in their former talisman in the just concluded January transfer window. Dibba, who signed a three year contract in China quickly keeps the dream of the Bajen fans when he wrote ” I am under contract, hadn’t been I was a free agent I would never have hesitate to return to stadion stadium.”
Pa Dibba have capped five times since making his debut in 2015 against South Africa in African cup of nations qualifiers. The centre forward who can play in right/left wing of the midfielder haven’t represented the scorpions since the double header qualifier match against Mauritania in 2016.
Fan favourite Pa Dibba took on Instagram and penned the following ” I thank God for this opportunity to continue my adventure in China with Shanghai Shenxin. I like the trust from the board, will quickly like to send my heart felt message to the supporters of Hammarby. I appreciate the affection while I was away. It truly touches/warm my heart. Unfortunately, there were lots of factors in the decision making, and I had no chance to influence or change destiny. It’s not meant to happen, but my love for the club and its fans cannot be described. Whatever happens, you guys are always in my heart.”
Pa Dibba scored seven goals in 13 matches before moving to China and had a total of 116 Allsvenska club appearances for Sundsvall & Hammarby.
