Maudo debuted for Di Gule
Bakoteh born defender Maudo Jarjue was handed a starting berth in the defense of Elfsborg alongside Kenyan International Joseph Okumu as they walloped Malmo FF by four goals to nothing at the Borås Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Jarjue played the first 45minutes and was superb as his side recorded the heavy won against the Allsvenska giants.
Swedish sports reporter Oskar Pålsson was full of praise for Jarju’s on first debut as he assessed his output.
“He was really good, played secure in the defense, won his duels, and felt safe with the ball. Elfsborg played against the best team in Sweden and took a big win – which was fair.” Pallson stated.
Elfsborg will host Stockholm-based club AIK but it is not clear if it will feature as he is set to be with Gambia for national assignment against Angola and Dr Congo.
Jarjue was content with his performance as he hopes to make his mark for Elfsborg in the Swedis top-flight.
“It was a good feeling, I am happy to be here. I have been reading about the team since my arrival. They (Elfsborg) have big ambition.Talented players, great midfielders, and a fantastic goalkeeper.” Jarjue stressed.
“Malmö is good with the ball and quite experienced. But we beat them through teamwork. We punish them for their mistakes.”
“It was great playing with Joseph Okumu, he is fast, strong, technique and has confidence as well as other similar characteristics with me. Since my arrival, I have been training twice.” He added.
Jarjue, 23 is on loan from Austrian Bundesliga side Austria Wien.
