Superstars FC to open third division campaign against Munduk FC
Superstars will kick start their third division season on Sunday as they welcome Munduk FC to the Serekunda East Mini Stadium
Team President of Superstars FC, Ismaila Jagne touched on how his team are gearing up for the new season and what they seek to achieve.
“We are having very good preparations for the season. We have recruited young and experienced players, we even went further to acquire players from Dakar, Ziguinchor, Mbour. I’m impressed with what I have seen and these are the type of players I am looking for. Omar Jabang is within our ranks and his experience will be crucial.” Jagne indicated
“Our objective is to get promoted. There is no way we can compromise, we want to be in the second division as that will help the team and the players to get more competition and experience before moving abroad.”
Head coach of the side Ebrima Bah also stressed that the team is doing well and the players are given their best as they work towards a common goal.
“We have a solid team, we are preparing well, every player is giving 100%. The kind of project we have at hand, we need to be prompted always and go all out. ” Bah added.
