Atalanta pre-season

Champions League-bound Atalanta have announced their UK tour and will play series of matches ranging from Championship club to Epl clubs. 27th July they will face Swansea whilst on 30th July they will lock horns with Norwich City and round up preparations with a fixture against Leicester City on August 2, 2019.

Lamin Jallow to hadjuk split

Lamin Jallow who just helped Salernitana to maintain their Serie B status is said to be a target of Hamza Barry club Hadjuk Split. The Croatian power house will have to battle Pescara for the services of Jallow. The Gambian international who joined Salernitana in January, is valued €1 million euros.

Managerial changes

There have been managerial changes in both Sampdoria & KAS Eupen.

For Sampdoria on Saturday head coach Marco Giampaolo terminated his contract with the blessing of club president Massimo Ferrero. Giampaolo has ended his three-year stay in Genoa and is expected to sign for A.C. Milan. He has been a father figure for Gambian Vice Captain Omar Colley. Former Roma coach Eusebio Di Francesco is expected to take over on a two-year contract

Makelele left Eupen

Just as Omar Colley, Sulayman Marreh has enjoyed a debut season in Belgium almost featuring in 95% of the club’s games. We yet to see how a managerial change will affect his position. Despite the Qatar owner giving Makelele a social ambassador role, the French-born is expected to fill in some coaching role at Stamford Bridge.

Metz fixtures are out.

On Friday, 14th June, the Ligue 1 Conforama released its fixtures and Ablie Jallow Metz will kick off with an away fixture against Strassbourg on August 10th whilst their first home match for 2019/2020 season is against Monaco.

Buba Sannehs Anderlecht and Assan Ceesay’s Zuerich FC started their pre-season on Monday.
