Gambian defender Antou Baadjan joins Finish side Sporting Kristina
Gambian guardsman Antou Badjan has signed a one year contract with Finish Side
Sporting Kristina.
Badjan who has previously played for GPA, Real de Banjul as well as Hawks and Marimoo FC appended his signature to the one year deal on Wednesday as he starts his European adventure.
Badjan mentioned that he feels very inspired to realize his dream of playing abroad and he is looking forward to make his mark.
“It’s a motivation, I was working it back home. I always had the belief that it will come. Then the club needed my services and acquired me.” Badjan stressed.
The 25-year-old is a right footed player but can operate across anywhere in the back four which gives him an edge when it comes to versatility.
The defender featured in Marimoo FC first Round in the GFF where he scored one goal.
He has also represented the Gambia U17, U20 & U23.
He won two Super cups with Real and Hawks, and a league title with Ports Authority.
