Susso Bamba follows footsteps of Gambian duo in Primavera League

Italian Serie B side A.C Pisa have completed the signing of Gambian-born Susso Bamba for their Primavera side.

Susso who was raised in Basse joined the Tuscan based club on Monday from Rome based club Romulea.

The Gambia has had huge success in the Primavera over the years with the likes of Musa Barrow, Ebrima Colley and Musa Juwara all being promoted to the A team.

Musa Barrow scored 18 goals in 23 matches, Ebrima Colley netted 23 goals in 46 matches whereas Musa Juwara who is with Bologna raked in 24 goals in 59 appearances as the stock of Gambian players in the Italian youth leagues continues to rise.

“They all motivate you, and they are good ambassadors. They all passed in the Primavera and I will complete my mission.” Susso emphasized after signing his deal

The right-footed striker known as “Eto” in the Gambian City of Basse is efficient with his head and legs. The giant attacker was scouted by Atalanta, Inter Milan and Sassulo before joining the Black and Blue.

“I am happy to be here, I have to thank everyone who has been close to me over the years. I promise that I will give my best for the shirt.” He added.
Susso will join Marco Masi side for his first training by the close of the wwek..
